Greetings,

I am delighted to bring you greetings on behalf of the ladies of Theta Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated! The sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha is the first Greek lettered sorority established by African American women. It was founded January 15, 1908, over 109 years ago on the campus of Howard University.

Theta Xi Omega Chapter was chartered on March 11, 1967 by seventeen women with a vision. For over 50 years we have been efficiently serving Troup, Coweta, Meriwether and Harris Counties. Through the years we have made a difference in lives by implementing service programs and activities which reflect the National program. We continue to enhance these communities and the world in which we live by supporting and executing the current five Targets of Alpha Kappa Alpha: Educational Enrichment, Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership, and Global Impact.

The ladies of Theta Xi Omega Chapter are committed to uplifting communities and enhancing lives by being of “Service to All Mankind” in the 21st century.
